UK Tech Cluster Group launches Investment Corridors as part of the Regional Tech Booster programme

The UK Tech Cluster Group (UKTCG), supported by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT), has launched the Investment Corridors, a new initiative connecting investors with some of the most promising regional tech companies across the UK.

Delivered through the Regional Tech Booster programme, funded by the UK Government and supported by DSIT, the Investment Corridors aim to strengthen regional tech ecosystems, attract private investment, and showcase the commercial potential of companies beyond London and the South East.

The first event connected Series A-ready businesses working at the intersection of creativity, media and advanced technology with venture funds, corporate investors and ecosystem leaders. The showcase featured lightning talks, reverse investor pitching and curated one-to-one networking.

Hosted by TechSpark, a founding member of the UK Tech Cluster Group representing the South West, the corridor brought together companies from across all nations and regions of the UK, with strong representation from Wales and the North East.

Attending companies included Celestial, Condense, Snugs, Meaning Machine, Forceteck, BeamXR, Ticket Dotter, Black Laboratory, GEOvey, MultiMe, Jamup, Motion Impossible, Being Human, Market Types, First Light Pianos, and BeatBlocks alongside investors and partners from across the country.

Ben Shorrock, CEO of TechSpark, said:

“The Investment Corridors are about creating a bridge between investors and the incredible innovation happening across the UK’s regions. By bringing together scalable companies from every corner of the country, we’re helping to show that great ideas and strong investment opportunities exist well beyond the South East.”

Future Investment Corridor events will take place in Leeds and Birmingham in early December, each designed to connect ambitious founders with investors looking to back high-growth tech businesses across the UK.  More details on company eligibility and sector focus will be announced before the end of October.

This project is funded by the UK Government in partnership with the UK Tech Cluster Group as part of the Regional Tech Booster programme supported by DSIT.
